Species: Aljarian Mantoan
Height: Anywhere from 3-4 feet tall
Communication: Can communicate with others of it's kind using special bells located around the bases of it's legs, antennae, and back decor ((which grows as the creature ages)). With other species, it's languages lack proper edict, but it can and will speak with other tongues.
These bells can only be heard by this species. The frequency is much too high for anything else to hear it.

Legs: The front row of legs consists of eight bases, followed by eight stringy, more along the lines of tentacle-like limbs, than move like a centipede. The back legs are the same, only longer, and there are only five bases, instead of eight.

Diet: Their diet usually consists of plants, and other small species.

Eyes: The Mantoans' eyes are more or less, night vision goggles. Or at least they work that way in the dark. However, they are NOT nocturnal.

Retreat: Mantoans' also have the ability to retreat from battle, or encounter, into their 'shell' that is like a tortoises'. When inside of this shell, the bells secrete a 'spore' into the air that can cause random, and serious effects to the foe.
